NFP's new SVP of analytics

The property and casualty insurance broker NFP has made the announcement that Tevin Smith, who is pictured above, has been appointed to the position of senior vice president in the management and professional liability practice within its specialized division.

Smith will be working with a team to produce analytical insights to support data-driven growth plans for NFP's customers in his new role as the leader of operations technology. He will be responsible for overseeing the development of these strategies. At NFP, Matthew Schott, the managing director of management and professional liability, will be the one to whom he will report.

Smith comes to NFP from Aon, where he most recently worked as senior vice president and senior account executive overseeing big client relationships. Smith will take on his new role at NFP immediately. Before joining Aon, he worked for Willis Towers Watson as a client relationship director, where he was in charge of the FINMAR practice in the United States.
