PhD advisors have the opportunity to recommend a select few of their most qualified students for financing. The EEE department's Awards Panel Committee is in charge of making judgments on funding. Because there is a lot of competition for this grant, applicants who send in their materials early (by October for the following October, for example) have a better chance of being considered for it. In the event that they have been selected to receive this grant, the applicants will be notified.

Qualifications Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate that they satisfy all of the following program eligibility conditions in order to be eligible for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Scholarships offered by Imperial College London.

Students from either the United States or other countries are required to apply.
This distinguished academic award is open to candidates of any country, and applicants will be considered on an individual basis.
Applicants who meet the requirements for this fellowship are not required to submit their own applications; rather, their supervisors are responsible for doing so on their behalf if the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has extended a PhD offer to them.
Applicants are required to hold a Master's degree in a field related to the position.

Procedures for Making Applications
Instructions for Applying: Interested candidates for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering PhD Scholarships at Imperial College London are initially nominated for funding by the potential PhD supervisors, and funding decisions are made by the Awards Panel Committee after the offer of a PhD place has been extended to the candidate. The Awards Panel is also responsible for making decisions regarding nominations for other forms of financial assistance, such as the President's Scholarship, which are administered centralized by the College.
