How do I use Siri on my 13-inch iPhone?

Before you can use Siri on iPhone 13, you must first configure Siri on your device. To configure Siri on the iPhone 13, navigate to Settings Siri Search.

Toggle Listen for "Hey Siri" if you wish to activate Siri with your voice, and toggle Turn on Press Side Button for Siri if you wish to activate Siri with a button.
1.If your iPhone is listening for voice commands, saying "Hey Siri" will launch Siri and prepare your iPhone for a query or command. Be careful to speak clearly near your iPhone, but also keep in mind that iPhones are notoriously adept at recognizing voices.

Note:If you only want to occasionally use Siri's voice control, position your iPhone face down. By doing so, the iPhone will no longer listen for the Siri activate phrase.

2.On the iPhone 13, the side control is used to activate Siri via button rather than voice. Siri will launch when the side button is pressed and held down. Then, you can pose your question or issue your command.

Note:If you're using an older iPhone running iOS 15, this procedure is identical. However, if your iPhone has a home button, you must press and hold it to access Siri.

3.To access Siri while using EarPods with an iPhone 13, tap and hold the center or call button. If you use AirPods with an iPhone 13 while donning AirPods, you can also access Siri by saying "Hey Siri"

Note:Depending on the AirPods you use with iPhone 13, Siri may be accessible via a switch on the AirPods. Which trigger, however, depends on the model of your AirPods. Check Apple's support page to determine if Siri is compatible with AirPods.

4.After asking Siri a question or giving Siri a command, you can either select the Listen button or say "Hey Siri" again to ask Siri another question or give Siri another command. Tap the Listen icon to rephrase a request or spell out a portion of it, and you can edit the text directly by tapping your request on-screen.

Note:If you'd rather type to Siri than use your voice, go to Settings Accessibility Siri and enable Type to Siri. Once Siri is activated, you will have a text field to input your questions and commands.
