Former Red Devil says United should consider this manager with "a better CV than Pochettino or Ten Hag."

It has been suggested to Manchester United that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel may be a better choice for the club's future manager than either Mauricio Pochettino or Erik ten Hag.

As a result of the chaos at Chelsea, the German coach isn't sure where his next job will be. Chelsea's owner, Roman Abramovich, has been fined by the government.

Tuchel is one of the best managers in the world, and he's had a lot of success at Stamford Bridge. If he's available this summer, Man Utd should think about hiring him.

Luke Chadwick, who used to be a Red Devil, says that's what MUFC needs in a new manager this summer. He talked about what kind of person they need to replace interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

Chadwick used to be a big fan of Mauricio Pochettino, but now he's not so sure after how things have gone for him at Paris Saint-Germain. He said Tuchel was a better option than the Argentine and Ajax boss Ten Hag.

In an interview with CaughtOffside, Chadwick stated that the situation at PSG has not been favorable to Pochettino. In the first leg against Real Madrid, you could argue that they had a legitimate chance of winning the Champions League – they have excellent players and are quick on the counter-attack – but things haven't gone quite as Pochettino would've liked in the second leg against Barcelona.

For a long time, I've been convinced that Pochettino could be the right man for the position. I still believe he is capable of doing a terrific job, but when you look at how things ended up at Tottenham, it was a disaster for him, and they didn't actually win anything.

“Obviously Ten Hag has a lot more experience, but he seems to be the favorite and the one to perform the job. The most important thing is that it be announced so that the club can begin construction and so that both the supporters and the players are aware of who is coming in to play for the club. So that they have as much time as possible to prepare for the start of the following season, it's imperative that they make their selection now!

"The manner in which Tuchel has conducted himself throughout the Chelsea situation has been outstanding, and it is clear that he is a world-class manager." With all he's accomplished in the game, he has unquestionably compiled a more impressive CV than either Pochettino or Ten Hag.

There are many people at United who would welcome the chance to talk to and recruit him to play for us at Old Trafford if he is an option at all. " Even if a buyout is completed at Chelsea, given the current status of the two teams, you would expect Tuchel to remain in his position, even if there is uncertainty around Chelsea until Roman Abramovich leaves."

During an interview, Chadwick was asked about Paul Scholes' recent comments that Manchester United needed a manager that the players feared.

Scholes' old teammate, who also played under Sir Alex Ferguson, believes that United's players aren't necessarily afraid of Ferguson personally, but are afraid of disappointing him by failing to perform.

According to Chadwick, "the fear factor Ferguson possessed stemmed from the type of connections he had developed with his players." 'It wasn't so much a dread of Ferguson as it was a worry of disappointing him,' says the author.

It was because of how he operated the club that you wanted to go the extra mile for him, and because of the way he made everyone feel like they were a part of something very special, truly unique.

It's possible that United is keen to find someone with that aura, but I think it will take some time because it needs creating strong ties.

In the same way that Jurgen Klopp has done at Liverpool and Pep Guardiola has done at Manchester City, there is a fear of letting them down, as well as a worry of letting your teammates and the club down." There is a need for someone to come in and instill the mentality and environment that Sir Alex fostered."
