Farmers Protest: From the Frontlines at Shambhu Barrier
One regular day at the Shambhu barrier turned chaotic just before 11 am. Out of nowhere, tear gas was fired by the police without any reason. This was followed by a lot of rubber bullets and more tear gas, causing a lot of confusion and disorder. The farmers, many of whom were old and could hardly walk, were surprised and ended up getting hurt in the thick smoke. It felt like a war zone, with our own forces shooting at farmers who were just peacefully protesting.
