BEEF SAUCE WITH GREEN PEPPERS AND MUSHROOMS

Heres a sweet way to spice up your food game. Try this amazing beef sauce with rice or spaghetti and thank me later

Ingredients For this Recipe:

 

400g diced beef

1 Tablespoon butter

2 Chopped green bell pepper

2 Chopped carrots

1 Chopped onion

2 Tablespoons chopped ginger and garlic

1 Cup chicken or beef stock

4 Tablespoon light soy sauce

1 Tablespoon brown sugar

2 Tablespoon oyster sauce

1 Tablespoon Paprika

Cornflour

2 Knorr chicken cube

Crushed pepper flakes

Salt to taste

Method:

1. Season the diced beef with the chicken cubes and 1 teaspoon Cornflour, combine then leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Set aside.

2. On low heat, add a tablespoon of butter, wait for it to melt, then add the chopped onions. Continue cooking for 6 minutes, or until the onions start to turn caramelized. The longer the onions are allowed to caramelize, the sweeter they will become. For the sake of the photos, I opted not to. Put the bowl with the caramelized onions aside.

3. Return the pan to the heat, add half of the minced ginger and garlic, and cook for one minute while watching out for burning (if you allow it to burn it might taste bitter).

4. Add the seasoned meat at this point. Fry until everything is thoroughly cooked. After that, pour into a basin and reserve..

5.Return the pan to the cooker, add the remaining garlic and ginger, and cook for one more minute before adding the chopped peppers, carrots, and caramelized onions. Cook for a further three minutes.

6.Soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, paprika, and crushed red pepper flakes are now added, along with the chicken or beef stock. Combine, then heat for one more minute.

7. Then slowly stir in a spoonful of cornflour and half a cup of water by combining the two. At this point, the sauce will start to thicken. If the sauce needs extra pepper or salt, taste it and add more if necessary. Given how well-seasoned my chicken stock was, I didn't need to add any more.

8. Now, add the cooked beef and mushrooms back into the sauce 

9. Mix and cook for 2 minutes. Your Beef and Green Pepper Sauce is ready…
