Scholarships for the Environment offered by the British Council in Scotland through SGSAH | DETAILS
The scholarship will provide opportunities for research as well as international mobility, both of which will foster the development and support of new approaches to addressing the global challenge posed by the climate crisis. Additionally, the scholarship will support sustainable research as well as cultural exchanges within and beyond the arts, humanities, and cultural sectors.
The program will offer financial assistance to PhD students and early career researchers who are based in countries other than the United Kingdom so that they can participate in in-person and hybrid exchanges in the field of environmental arts and humanities in Scotland for up to three months in 2023. The research placements will include a face-to-face, two-week core leadership program that will be held in April 2023. During this time, all of the recipients, along with scholars based in Scotland, will get together to network and collaborate, and they will be supported in this endeavor by a set of Clusters that are organized thematically and geographically.
