Neymar reveals Messi's suffering at PSG and what awaits him at Inter Miami

Neymar has revealed that Lionel Messi was "suffering" at Paris Saint-Germain and that he will be "much happier" at Inter Miami.

In a recent interview, Neymar revealed that Lionel Messi was "suffering" at Paris Saint-Germain and that he was "excited" to see him join Inter Miami.

Neymar said that Messi was not happy at PSG because he was not getting the same level of support from the club that he was used to at Barcelona. He also said that Messi was not enjoying the pressure of being the main man at PSG.

However, Neymar believes that Messi will be much happier at Inter Miami. He said that the club is "family-oriented" and that Messi will be able to "enjoy his football" there.

Neymar also said that he is "excited" to play with Messi again. He said that they have a "special connection" on the pitch and that they can "do great things together."

Messi is expected to join Inter Miami in the summer of 2023. He will be the biggest signing in the club's history, and he is expected to help the team compete for trophies.

The Brazilian expressed his displeasure at the club's failure to win Europe's premier competition, the club's long-term objective. "The galacticos of Real Madrid did not win the Champions League. We had a formidable team. We are aware that Messi, Mbappe, and I are the greatest in the world, but it did not occur. We desired to win everything, but sometimes football is not fair. "It is not like a cake recipe," he explained.

On the problems with the Parisian fans and his continuity at PSG, Neymar stressed that he is under contract and hopes to stay with the team: "So far no one has told me, I'm staying put. Even if there is not much love between the fans and the players, I will be there. Love or no love, but with Neymar."

He contemplated international retirement following the World Cup.

The Brazilian star's intention to leave the national team after losing to Croatia in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar was one of his most revelatory statements.

"Honestly, I didn't want to come back. I thought about it because I didn't want to go through that pain of losing again and seeing my family suffering, but they're going to have to put up with it again. It's going to be fine, it has to be,"

The Brazilian explained that he cried for several days following the World Cup loss and described the ambiance in the Brazil locker room: "It was like a funeral, with everyone sobbing together. It was dreadful. It was a sensation I do not wish to experience again. I would have preferred not to score. I would have preferred a scoreless stalemate and a loss on penalties to scoring, conceding, and then losing.

"It was one of the worst weeks of my life. Besides being injured, which nobody knew about, I was very sick. I did the treatment lying in bed, sleeping all day. I would put one foot on the floor and the physiotherapist would come to treat me. Marquinhos kept me company," said Neymar, who has not played since 19 February when he suffered a right ankle injury in a PSG match. He underwent surgery in March and has recently been cleared for group training.
