According to Ralf Rangnick, the Manchester United star is free to go in the summer.

Ralf Rangnick, the manager of Manchester United, has stated that if Marcus Rashford wishes to leave the club, he could do so in the summer.

Rangnick stated in a recent interview, which was carried by BBC Sport, that "even if he and his representatives or his family think about heading to another club, he can do it but only in the summer."
However, Rangnick doesn't appear to be bothered by it, and he appears to be delighted that Rashford is free to make his own decision. "It makes no sense to invest any time or effort on that," Rangnick continued.

This isn't exactly a vote of confidence in Rashford, who may prefer to hear his manager express his desire for him to stay rather than this. The 24-year-old has appeared in only eight of the 18 games in which Rangnick has served as head coach.

Rashford could benefit from a move away from Manchester United in order to resuscitate his career. To get into Gareth Southgate's team, Rashford may have to prove his worth as a regular in England squads.

A new approach may be essential if he wishes to remain in the World Cup squad traveling to Qatar. If he wants to keep him in the squad, Southgate will want him to start more games.
