Man United transfer target  was told he had to leave, but he could only join Man United on one condition.

As a result of continuous Manchester United transfer rumours regarding Harry Kane, former Aston Villa midfielder Gabriel Agbonlahor has called for the England international to quit Tottenham Hotspur.

For all of his long tenure at Tottenham, Kane has been a world-class talent, amassing 242 goals in 375 appearances for the north London side.

Kane, on the other hand, has yet to win a single trophy in his career, and Agbonlahor believes it is past time for the 28-year-old to consider a move away from Tottenham to a club such as Manchester United or Manchester City this summer.

The commentator, though, told talkSPORT that Kane should only join United if they hire a "real" manager this summer.

Will Harry Kane join United or City this summer?

"You have to get out of here. I believe the prank has come to an end. Harry Kane has given them so much over the years, and he has remained with them this season as well. Agbonlahor said, "We're nowhere near winning a trophy or making the top four."

When he's ready to move on, I'd go to Manchester City if they still wanted me," said a friend. There will be a chance to go to Manchester United if they can get the right manager there."

The possibility of Kane joining Man United has surfaced, but might Manchester City be a better option?

The Daily Mirror reports that Kane has been connected with a return to Mauricio Pochettino's MUFC. The Daily Mirror reports that Kane is valued at approximately £100 million and may be interested in reuniting with Pochettino.

The Argentine, who is presently the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, pulled the best out of Kane when he was the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, and the two would make a good fit at Old Trafford.

But if Kane wants to be assured of winning trophies, a move to the Etihad Stadium would undoubtedly be the wiser choice.

Even if Pochettino takes over at United, it will be a long-term effort to restore them to their former glory, but Pep Guardiola's City side are already arguably the best team in the world and just want a superb goal-scorer like Kane to complete their transformation into the perfect team.
