For England's next matches against Switzerland and Ivory Coast, Gareth Southgate has made some controversial decisions. However, the most recent addition to the squad much outweighs them all.

After an absence of seven years, Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has been called up to the national squad.

Replacements for Sam Johnstone and Aaron Ramsdale have been named: Fraser Forster for West Brom and Fraser Forster for Arsenal.

Since joining Southampton in the summer, the 34-year-old has started all of the Saints' past 12 league games and kept two clean sheets.
