It's the first time Mason Greenwood has been seen since he was arrested.

After being detained by Greater Manchester Police on suspicion of rape and assault, Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has been spotted in Cheshire for the first time since his detention on the same charges.

A woman posted a series of photographs and an audio recording to social media, prompting the arrest of the young forward earlier this year.

As soon as they learned about the incident, Manchester United issued an official statement stressing that they 'do not condone any type of violence' (ManUtd).

A number of high-profile sponsors, including Nike, quickly distanced themselves from the Red Devils' suspended player, who is currently awaiting the conclusion of a criminal investigation.

Recent anticipation that Greenwood might make a surprise comeback was fuelled by Greenwood appearing on the club's website under the first-team squad area. However, the Red Devils were compelled to acknowledge that the attacker was remained on the sidelines.

But even though Greenwood is temporarily out of action, the striker has been photographed while out and about in the Cheshire area. Greenwood has not been seen in public since his detention, and the photographs were obtained by The Sun.
