Who is interested in it?
Two of Arsenal's previous three games have ended in defeat, while Tottenham are only three points ahead of Manchester United and have played as many games. It's time for these United players to prove they're serious about saving their season.
Changes in the middle
The reason given for Scott McTominay's omission against Leicester was his yellow card, but his shoddy play might just as easily have been the reason. Nemanja Matic, who was supposed to start ahead of Scott McTominay but was forced to sit out due to injury, should get his chance today. At Goodison Park, the Serbian's defensive midfield expertise would be a good fit.
Front-row merry-go-round?
In spite of Jadon Sancho's worst performance in months, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho must start. Jesse Lingard could be a viable option for Manchester United, although he has only started once in the Premier League in the last two seasons and may already be preparing for a summer move.
Changes at the fullback position?
Because Luke Shaw is out for the second time, Alex Telles is the default starter. Diogo Dalot's recent appearances have not been memorable, but they haven't been particularly bad either. Due to his recent derby debacle, it's possible that Ralf Rangnick would revert back to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Stop doing something?
A defeat at Carrow Road in December would have been a disaster for bottom-placed Norwich, but they were fortunate not to suffer a defeat. There was a 4-1 home win for Watford, and a 0-0 draw away. In February, Burnley held United to a 1-1 draw, which was the same result as when Everton, 17th in the table, left Old Trafford.
If United are to have any chance of qualifying for the Champions League, they must improve their dismal record against the bottom four in their next two games, including Norwich's visit to Manchester next week.
