Mason Greenwood has officially been sacked from Manchester United. They officially mutually split terms. Mason Greenwood still denies he committed those acts but owns up to the mistakes he has made during the relationship. He believes that the best decision is to continue his football career away from Manchester United. [Fabrizio Romano]

Many (sane) Manchester United fans have protested and were against Manchester United's potential decision to reinstate Greenwood into the club. Manchester United were about to reinstate Greenwood into the club, after a decision and conversations from Richard Arnold proved that he was planning to bring back Mason Greenwood [The Athletic] This angered the female fans and the sane Manchester United fans and have begun their protest. Since then, they were planning to offer him out on loan but there have been no offers from any club to take him, and the Manchester United hierarchy later believed that there is truly no way back for Mason Greenwood [The Sun]

Personally, I believe this is the best decision they could make. There is truly no win-win situation. Mason Greenwood's not going to be as good as he used to be.

Plus the 3 options Man Utd had were very difficult but the best one has to be removing Greenwood.

1st Decision: Terminate his contract and lose the least amount of PR possible.

2nd Decision: Do nothing, have fans still fight each other while Greenwood's contract expires. It would make them lose a lot of PR for doing nothing about the case + not caring about the safety of Women.

3rd: Keep him at United and lose the most amount of PR possible. Man Utd will lose a lot more money + investments and would also be considered a shameful club. Less money + less investments mean that they cannot pay Greenwood's and any other player's salary.

Greenwood's going to get abuse the most at Man Utd. He's going to have less anywhere else. It's the best decision for both. He'll have to grow where he'll face the least amount of abuse possible. Personally, I think he'll grow best in La Liga or Ligue 1/2. Serie A is not the best option, even though Atalanta was interested at one point, but he'll face tons of racial abuse there (then again, he'll still face abuse anywhere else).

Therefore, the best decision was Option 1. It's the only win-yet-lose situation out of the 3. Everything else was a lose-lose.

However, this does not mean that Greenwood can't return to Manchester United. He can still return as a transfer, if Man United so dares to offer for him.

You may not care what I think, but this was my unbiased opinion. #manutd #masongreenwood #greenwood #manchesterunited #premierleague #pl
