This game could come across as juvenile, but it can be a lot of hilarious fun for all ages and in practically any setting, whether you're holding class in a gym, on a basketball court, or in a field. Choose one student to assume the role of the shark, and have them stand in the middle of the play area. The other students are the fish, and they should all line up at one end of the space. "Shark, shark, may we cross your ocean?" cries out the entire school of fish at once. When the shark calls out, "Go, minnows, go," every student scrambles to the opposite side of the play area in an effort to avoid getting "eaten" (tagged) by the shark. If a runner is tagged, the runner turns into a second shark and cooperates with the first shark to tag additional fish. When there is just one fish left, the round or game is done.
