Samsung Galaxy A23 5G variant goes official with Snapdragon 695 chipset

Besides the SoC, everything else regarding the Galaxy A23 5G is the same as the LTE variant. Pay attention to this and learn all that is required to be known concerning this.

What you must understand

  • Samsung unveiled a new Galaxy A series device covertly.
  • Now available, the Galaxy A23 5G has minimal differences from the LTE version.
  • The 5G model has a 5000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 695 5G CPU.

Samsung revealed the Galaxy A23 in March, a non-5G phone with four 50MP rear cameras. While we eagerly await Samsung's upcoming foldable gadgets, the company secretly made the 5G version of the Galaxy A23 official four months later. Compared to its non-5G counterpart, which features a new 5G enabled processor, the Galaxy A23 5G introduces less changes.

The Galaxy A23 5G has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ screen with an Infinity-V display, just as the LTE model. With a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, it is an LCD panel.

The smartphone is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695 5G processor, however Samsung hasn't officially confirmed this. According to the claim, the alleged device's Geekbench test exposed the processor within. It represents a major improvement over the Snapdragon 680 seen in the LTE model. In addition to the graphics-capable Adreno 619 GPU, it gives the phone 5G capabilities.

The LTE variant weighed 195 grams, therefore there is just a slight increase in weight between the 5G handset's dimensions and weight (197 grams vs. 195 grams).

The design appears to be entirely identical to the LTE version. Additionally, the optics are very similar. The 50MP primary camera of the Galaxy A23 5G is accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device's front features an 8MP selfie camera.

Up to 8GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage are available as storage choices. Up to 1TB of microSD expansion is supported. A 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging powers the gadget, which is similar to the majority of the finest inexpensive Android phones. One UI 4.1, which is based on Android 12, comes preinstalled on the Galaxy A23 5G. There is native Samsung Knox protection for security. Finally, in addition to 5G, there are dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity choices.

Samsung has not yet made public information regarding the cost or availability of the Galaxy A23 5G. A likely launch in the European and Indian markets is alluded to by the GSMArena.
