iPhone 14 launch — Apple has already ‘started to record’ event

According to reports, filming for Apple's September iPhone and Apple Watch event has begun. Are you ready for the launch?

Apple has reportedly begun filming the unveiling of its new flagship phone, according to Mark Gurman's most recent Power On newsletter (opens in new tab). This indicates that preparations for the iPhone 14 launch event have already begun.

According to Gurman, "I'm told that Apple has started to record and put together its September media event, which is likely to take place in the first part of the month (as usual)."

He goes on to add that the Apple Watch 8 and the iPhone 14, as well as the speculated new premium rugged model, the Apple Watch 8 Pro, will all be unveiled at this event.

A lot has been said about the features Apple might include in the upcoming iPhone series. An A16 Bionic processor, new pill-and-punch-hole notch design, always-on display, and 48MP main camera are just a few of the features that appear to be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro. According to reports, the entry-level model will have a new Max size, an improved selfie camera, and other minor improvements.

According to reports, the Apple Watch 8 will resemble the Apple Watch 7, but it may include a body temperature sensor that might be beneficial for tracking fertility and general health. The Apple Watch 8 Pro is anticipated to be a brand-new premium wearable featuring a larger display and battery as well as a durable titanium case as standard.

Gurman adds that he anticipates a total of two Apple events this fall. The first, in September, will highlight the iPhone and Apple Watch, while the second, in October, will focus on iPads and Macs. Maybe the new iPad 2022, iPad Pro 2022, and MacBook M2 Pro models that have been rumored will be unveiled at this October demonstration.

There have also been numerous rumors concerning the upcoming release of the AirPods Pro 2. Although Gurman doesn't include them in his story, if these next-generation wireless earphones are as close to being on sale as is believed, they may fit in at either event. The predicted Apple VR/AR headset will reportedly not be released this fall; instead, it will wait until next year for its own launch event, as Gurman has previously said.

If these rumors are accurate, Apple's next smartphones and wearables might be available in less than a month. Read up on the most recent rumors about the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, Apple Watch 8, and Apple Watch 8 Pro to make sure you're prepare d.
