Whitebit, a digital asset exchange that was founded in Ukraine, is responsible for establishing the payment processor that has lately enabled cryptocurrency transactions in some of the country's top electronics retailers.

Whitepay, a cryptocurrency platform, has announced the launch of coin payments in major technology stores in Ukraine.

According to the cryptocurrency news outlet Forklog, the cryptocurrency exchange Whitepay, which is one of the platforms that operates as part of the ecosystem of the cryptocurrency exchange Whitebit, has introduced cryptocurrency payments for the products sold by major Ukrainian electronic stores.

According to the source, Tehnoezh (Tehnojak in Ukrainian), which manages one of the major online platforms in the industry, and Stylus are two of the electronic shops whose consumers will now be able to take use of the newly introduced service.

Because of the connectivity, customers can pay for their goods using any one of more than 130 different digital currencies. In the future, it is anticipated that the list of digital currency that can be used will be expanded.

Whitepay will install specialized point-of-sale (POS) terminals at physical locations across Ukraine so that customers can use their digital assets to make purchases online or in-person. Holders of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine will be able to make purchases using their digital assets by filling out the appropriate forms. The payment processor is responsible for system maintenance as well as providing support for customers.

Over the course of the past few years, cryptocurrencies have seen a substantial rise in popularity in Ukraine, which has led to the nation becoming a pioneer in the acceptance of cryptocurrencies across Eastern Europe.
