Beazley launches Weather Guard internet portal

Beazley, a specialized insurance provider, has announced the launch of a brand new web gateway for its Weather Guard product.

Beazley has stated that the site, which was developed in collaboration with Paragon, will result in a more expedient service while maintaining the same quality of cover, limits, and unique weather risks. Weather Guard will still be written on Beazley's accepted paper, and the claims for Weather Guard will still be handled by the claims team at the company.

"Weather Guard is a market-leading weather insurance product, combining Beazley's vast meteorological data data and experience dating back nearly 40 years," said Andrew Duxbury, head of backup plan at Beazley. "Weather Guard is supported by great underwriting knowledge." Businesses located anywhere in the United States can benefit greatly from the superior protection it provides against adverse weather conditions.

"The new web gateway will ensure that more brokers are able to readily utilize Weather Guard using high-quality, cutting-edge technology for quick and seamless response times," As we move forward with the development of Weather Guard as a team, I'm looking forward to collaborating with Paragon.

"Weather Guard, a product I've underwritten for nine years, plays an important role in protecting North American businesses from weather-related losses," said Christian Phillips, president of backstop techniques at Paragon. "Paragon is excited to be going to help bring it to an ever-wider readership via state-of-the-art digital distribution tools," Phillips added. "Weather Guard plays an essential role in protecting North American businesses from weather-related losses."
