Antony vows to win at Sheriff Tirapsol

Antony is going to play his first game away from Old Trafford in a Manchester United jersey, and he has expressed his excitement about returning to action for the club.

In Manchester United's match against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League on Thursday, Antony may get the opportunity to play for the club for the third time.

After scoring a dream debut goal the previous weekend against Arsenal, the Brazilian began his second game in the competition's opening 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad last week. The contest was the opening match of the season. United will go to Moldova without five players due to injuries, including Donny van de Beek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Marcus Rashford, who has been in fine form recently.

It is possible that Antony may line up next to the "giant" Cristiano Ronaldo once again, as he did in the match against Sociedad, where Real Sociedad was defeated. It is anticipated that the 22-year-old will play against Sheriff, and if he does, it will be his first time playing for the Reds away from home. This is something that the player is looking forward to.

Antony admits that he suffered "sleepless evenings" before the transfer to Manchester United. READ MORE about this story here.

He addressed the journalists within the organization, "I always look forward to playing in a United shirt," which was reported. "There is always a cause to get enthused about it," said one person. Antony did not try to cover up United's loss from the previous week and made a commitment to deliver the team's first points in the competition back to the club.

He continued by saying, "Unfortunately, we lost the last home game, [but] we now need to focus one hundred per cent on the away game, and we need to bring the three points home with us."

Antony is in contention for Arsenal's "difficult" test, according to Ten Hag.

On Sunday, United will take on a team that is now in first place in the Premier League, and new star signing Antony might make his debut for the club.

"We're going to run into some challenges [during the season]. We are aware that it will be a challenging match. [However], given that everyone is aware of the greatness that is Manchester United, we will take the field in order to pay tribute to this significant badge.

Antony has never scored in any of his seven career appearances in the Europa League, but he demonstrated his ability to compete at the European level while playing for Ajax in the Champions League last year. In those seven games, Antony scored twice and provided four assists.
