Rashford, Martial, Van de Beek, and Shaw injuries and return dates

Two players have made their way back to Carrington for training, while the rest of Manchester United's squad is still sidelined.

Due to the fact that international stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo are getting ready to join their respective national teams for the September break, Manchester United have received a double boost on the injury front.

Both Donny van de Beek and Facundo Pellistri have rejoined their Manchester United teammates in the training field after being forced to sit out of recent contests due to injury. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are not yet fit enough to follow them, however, as United will be playing their next game at the Etihad Stadium in the Manchester derby on Sunday, October 2.

Both Martin Dubravka and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were sidelined with knocks and did not play in United's victory over Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League. The club has not yet provided an update on the two players' conditions. Before we take a break for international competition, let's take a look at how things currently stand on the treatment table at Carrington:

Liverpool, newly promoted, manages a stunning victory over Chelsea, the reigning champions.

In a match in which all goals were scored from the penalty spot, the Reds were victorious over the reigning champions Chelsea by a score of 2-1.

Ten Hag has been quoted as saying, "He is making progress, but he is not ready to get back into team training or in a game at this time."

Facundo Pellistri

Injury: Ankle

Monday morning found Pellistri back in training with the rest of his United teammates at Carrington. He also received a call-up to the most recent Uruguay squad. Pellistri, who is 20 years old, should be given the opportunity to play for Uruguay in their upcoming international matches against Iran and Canada, and they should give him some playing time.

The man's name is Marcus Rashford.

Injury: Muscular

The date of our return is October 2nd (possibly)

What Ten Hag has said: "He is suffering from a muscle injury. I don't give it a lot of thought, but I could be wrong. It's not that big of a deal, and we anticipate him being back with the team in relatively short order."
