England calls up four Manchester United junior players

Two players from Manchester United's youth teams will be participating for England's Under-18 and Under-19 squads, respectively.

During the upcoming international break, four members of Manchester United's youth squad will represent England's Young Lions in international competition.

As part of the qualification process for the European Under-19 Championship, the Under-19 team representing England will compete against Georgia, Montenegro, and Denmark.

The Young Lions were victorious at the European Under-19 Championship this past summer and will begin their qualification campaign against Montenegro on Wednesday. They will then face Georgia on the 24th of September. On Tuesday, September 27, the team will compete in their final qualification match against Denmark.

In the meantime, the Under-18 team representing England will travel to Spain this month to compete in a mini-tournament. There, they will be pitted against teams from the Netherlands, the Faroe Islands, and Belgium.

On Wednesday, September 21, England will compete against the Netherlands. The following week, on Friday, September 23, England will take on the Faroe Islands, and on Monday, September 26, they will play Belgium.

It has been revealed by Guardiola that Kalvin Phillips requires surgery.

The manager of City Football Club has confirmed that Phillips is out for the upcoming England matches due to "another shoulder injury."

These are the four United players who have been called up to represent England's youth teams in their upcoming competitions.

Omari Forson (England U19s)

The midfielder made his debut for United's Under-18 team while he was still in school and has since gone on to gain valuable experience playing in the league and in the FA Youth Cup.

This season, the 18-year-old forward, who previously played for Tottenham before joining United, has appeared five times in the Premier League 2 and has racked up three goals and one assist during that time. Forson also contributed to the team's victory in the EFL Trophy match against Carlisle, which they won 2-1, and he scored the game-winning goal in that match.

Mather, Sam (England U19s)

During the 2017–2018 campaign, Mather recorded a total of 20 goal contributions across all competitions, with the majority of his matches taking place in the U18 Premier League.

This season, he has played in the Premier League 2 on one occasion and the U18 Premier League twice. Additionally, he has played twice in the U18 Premier League.

Tyler Fredricson (England U18s)

Fredricson, a defender, was one of the members of the team that won the FA Youth Cup the previous year. Just last week, he was added to the UEFA B list for the Europa League. At Old Trafford, he was one of the players who came off the bench for the match against Real Sociedad.

This season, the 17-year-old has appeared in Premier League 2 on five different occasions and also participated in the team's victory in the EFL Trophy match against Carlisle.
