Ledger Joins Binance.

On Wednesday, Binance made the announcement that it had formed a partnership with Ledger, one of the most prominent manufacturers of hardware wallets.

The popular Ledger Nano S wallet is manufactured by Ledger, which is also the name of the company.

The strategic alliance will make it possible for customers of Binance to make secure cryptocurrency purchases using Ledger Live and receive such purchases straight in their Ledger wallet accounts. The user is no longer required to manually move between multiple apps in order to buy or transfer cryptocurrency.

In a tweet, Ledger expressed their gratitude for the relationship.

"Buy cryptocurrency safely using your #Binance account within Ledger Live, and get it directly in your Ledger account - no need to move between applications or manually transfer funds."

Jean-Francois Rochet, Vice President of Transactions and Services at Ledger, made the following statement:

"Binance and Ledger are genuinely global leaders in the domain of digital assets, and it only makes sense to join to give our users with the benefits of buying cryptocurrency from Binance within the context of Ledger Live, offering Ledger's uncompromising world-class security."

According to Binance, the partnership would make it possible for customers of Ledger who already have verified accounts to purchase cryptocurrency using their bank cards when utilizing Ledger. Users of Ledger who do not already have Binance accounts have the option of establishing a Binance account immediately within the Ledger Live app, if they do not already have one.

In a statement on their blog, Binance stated:

"The first step of this new relationship is now in place, with Binance available in the desktop edition of Ledger Live, which is the Ledger companion software, and is available in ten different languages. Users of the Ledger Live desktop app may now make purchases of more than 80 distinct cryptocurrencies using their bank cards, including Visa and Mastercard. These purchases can be made in the Discover section of the app. It only takes a few clicks to complete the entire process."
