The most recent pieces of transfer gossip and news coming out of Old Trafford as Manchester United get ready for the upcoming January window.
According to reports, Manchester United are reportedly keeping an eye on Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams. Adams currently plays for Leeds United.
Adams, now 23 years old, first rose to prominence while playing for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga for three seasons. He joined Leeds United in the summer transfer window after previously playing for Leipzig. Nevertheless, despite that fact as well as the intense competition that exists between those two teams, Erik ten Hag is rumored to have his eye on the United States international.
According to Football Insider, Ten Hag is monitoring the player and his interest in Adams dates back to when the 17 million euro man was playing in Germany. Ten Hag's interest in Adams dates back to when he was playing in Germany. Adams has appeared in 11 games for his club in the Premier League so far this season. He was effectively signed as a replacement for Kalvin Phillips, who moved to Manchester City over the summer.
Adams was offered a contract at Elland Road that would last for the next five years. In the meantime, United completed five permanent transfers this summer, after which Ten Hag was sworn in as manager from Ajax. In addition, Martin Dubravka joined the club on loan in order to compensate for Dean Henderson's move to Nottingham Forest in a deal similar to this.
Amadou Haidara, a star player for RB Leipzig who was heavily linked with the club when Ralf Rangnick was serving as interim manager, has been reported to be the subject of renewed interest from Manchester United, according to a publication in Spain called Fichajes. This year, the 24-year-old defender has played for the Bundesliga club in a total of 18 games across all competitions.
United may look for additional reinforcements for the box-to-box midfielder position despite the fact that Haidara is a box-to-box midfielder by trade. Despite the fact that Frenkie de Jong was their top priority during the transfer window, he decided to remain with Barcelona, and Manchester United shifted their focus to Casemiro, a player with a stronger focus on defense.
Haidara is under contract at Leipzig until 2025. Earlier in his career, he competed for RB Salzburg in Austria.
