Rewards for Scholarship Attendance
In addition to giving an annual stipend, recipients of the Rhodes Scholarship are exempt from paying Oxford University's tuition costs.
A stipend in the amount of £17,310 per year (or £1,442.50 per month) will be provided to Scholars so that they can pay for all of their living expenses, including their housing, for the academic year 2021/22.
Both the price for a student visa and the International Health Surcharge that goes along with it will be paid for by the Trust (IHS)
The Rhodes Trust will pay for two economy class flights for the student to arrive in the UK and depart from Oxford at the beginning and end of their academic year.
Scholars are given a settling-in allowance, and those Scholars who transition to a second course of study in Oxford will receive assistance to cover the fee for visa renewal and further application for HIS in the case that the course is extended. Scholars also receive an allowance to cover the cost of further application for HIS if the course is extended.
