Criteria for Eligibility | GREAT Scholarship offered by the British Council 2022/23
To qualify for a scholarship, you must first meet the following requirements:
be a citizen of one of the programme's nations, which are China, India, Kenya, Malaysia, or Thailand, and be considered a fee payer from overseas.
have been made a conditional offer, which you have accepted prior to the cutoff date of April 30, 2022,
begin your studies in September of 2022 at the earliest.
be involved in the industry, either by work experience or a demonstrated interest in the topic at hand.
be open to embodying the experience of higher education in the UK by participating in extracurricular activities, as well as attending lectures and tutorials, and be willing to act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the benefits of attending a UK higher education institution.
be willing to connect with the United Kingdom as a scholar by achieving personal and academic success.
Becoming an advocate for scholarships is a great way to show that you uphold the high standards of the GREAT brand.
be open to participating in a networking event that will include all UK-based GREAT scholars, the purpose of which will be to talk experiences and collect opinions regarding the experience of studying in the UK.
Procedures for Making Applications
The application process for the British Council GREAT scholarship should be completed through the applicant portal provided to you. When you have been extended an offer to participate in a program through the University of Kent, and only then, will you be eligible to submit an application for the GREAT Scholarship.
To be eligible for consideration for this prize, you will be required to send in the items listed below:
an essay on a subject you have studied in the past and the reasons why you found it intriguing, with the essay being no more than 500 words. This issue ought to be relevant to the degree program that you intend to enroll in, or it ought to be the thing that motivated you to do so.
Only files in Word or PDF format will be accepted for uploading of this document; any other formats will be ignored.
