Senate President Godswill Akpabio appointed 10th Senate Special Committee Chairmen.
According to the Standing Orders 2022 as Amended, the President appointed members to the Selection Committee, including the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau, as Vice Chairman and other principal officers of both the majority and minority.

The Selection Committee includes Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, APC, Ekiti Central; Senate Chief Whip Ali Ndume, Borno; Deputy Leader Dave Umahi, Ebonyi South; and Deputy Whip Lola Ashiru, Kwara South.
Senators Simon Davou Mwadkwon, PDP, Plateau North, the Senate-Minority Leader; Darlington Nwokocha, LP, Abia Central, the Minority Whip; Oyewumi Kamorudeen Olarere, PDP Osun West, the Deputy Minority Leader; and Rufai Hanga, NNPP, Kano Central, the Deputy Minority Whip.
The Senate President appointed Senator Tutus Zam, APC, Benue North West, Chairman, Rules and Business; Senator Sunday Karimi, APC, Kogi West, Chairman, Senate Services; Senator Okechukwu Ezea, LP, Enugu East, Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions; and Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada, SDP, Nasarawa West, Public Accounts Committee.
The National Security and Intelligence Committee, Legislative Compliance Committee, and Media and Public Affairs Committee are chaired by Senators Shehu Umar, Garba Maidoki, and Adeyemi Adaramodu, APC, Ekiti.
