Despite winning, Man United suffered a setback against Arsenal because a player needed crutches

Manchester United defeated Arsenal 2-0 in New Jersey, but they suffered a setback when a young player was seen leaving the game on crutches at MetLife Stadium.

Manchester United have a new injury issue following their victory over Arsenal in a pre-season match.

The Gunners had a setback in their recent friendly match on their USA tour. Man United won the game at the MetLife Stadium with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho. Mikel Arteta wants his team to be surprised by the result, in order to prepare them for the last few weeks before the new season starts.

It was a very heated friendly game and things got intense when Lisandro Martinez made a strong tackle on Bukayo Saka. This led to both teams arguing with each other and the referee gave Martinez a yellow card. The event caused Martin Odegaard and the World Cup winner to talk to each other, and Man United boss Erik ten Hag tried to talk to the officials before going to the locker room.

The referee warned Harry Maguire, and Man United fans were upset with a tackle by Jurrien Timber on Amad Diallo. Shortly after, Amad fell to the ground without anyone else near him. He was taken out of the game and replaced with a different player, only a few minutes after joining the game in the middle.

After the game ended, a video showed Amad, who is 21 years old, using crutches and being carried around the stadium. This could be bad news for the winger. He was probably hoping to make a good impression on Ten Hag during pre-season, especially after doing well while on loan at Sunderland.

The player from Ivory Coast scored 14 goals and helped with three other goals in 39 games as the Black Cats made it to the play-offs. We don't know yet how bad Diallo's injury is.
