Rasmus Hojlund is imminently to be announced as Manchester United's third summer signing.
United paid a base price of £64 million for the Danish forward, with a potential increase to £72 million if certain clauses are fulfilled. Hojlund was observed landing in Manchester on Tuesday, prior to his medical.
The 20-year-old's signing ends United's search for a principal center-forward, although the club's transfer window may not be closed. The club is open to new recruits, as a number of players are expected to depart.

United rejected West Ham's £20 million offer for Harry Maguire last week, but the club remains open to offers for Maguire and Anthony Martial. Meanwhile, the Hammers and Fulham are monitoring Scott McTominay and Fred, respectively.
Exits will finance a pursuit of Sofyan Amrabat if sufficient funds are available, with Erik ten Hag interested in the Moroccan after his World Cup performance.
Reds 'join Lavia chase'
According to the Independent, United is considering competing with Liverpool for Romeo Lavia. Southampton has rejected two proposals from Jurgen Klopp's club for the midfielder, the second worth just under £40 million. Southampton is holding out for £50 million. Erik ten Hag is looking to add depth to his midfield and is likely to lose Fred and Donny van de Beek. Chelsea and Arsenal are also reportedly interested in signing the 19-year-old.

Amrabat reps in Manchester
According to Football Insider, Sofyan Amrabat's representatives have traveled to Manchester in anticipation of a transfer to Manchester United.
United have been touted as front-runners to sign the Moroccan in recent weeks, with manager Erik ten Hag open to more additions following confirmation of Rasmus Hojlund's arrival.
Central midfield is a point of interest for the Dutchman, who could sell Fred and Donny van de Beek in a bid to raise funds. Amrabat is expected to cost around £30m.
