Recap of Batang Quiapo October 4, 2023 episode

In the October 4, 2023 episode of Batang Quiapo, Makoy (Coco Martin) and Tanggol (Jodi Sta. Maria) finally confess their love for each other. They share a passionate kiss, but their happiness is short-lived when they are interrupted by Joaquin (Arjo Atayde).

Joaquin is furious to see Makoy and Tanggol together. He threatens to kill Makoy if he doesn't stay away from his sister. Makoy stands up to Joaquin, but he knows that he is no match for the powerful crime boss.

Meanwhile, Ligaya (Ronaldo Valdez) is still trying to get his revenge on Makoy. He kidnaps Makoy's mother, Aling Rosa (Susan Roces), and holds her hostage. Ligaya demands that Makoy turn himself in to the police, or he will kill Aling Rosa.

Makoy is devastated when he learns that his mother has been kidnapped. He knows that he has to save her, but he is also worried about Tanggol. He doesn't want to leave her alone with Joaquin.

Makoy decides to make a deal with Ligaya. He agrees to turn himself in to the police if Ligaya releases Aling Rosa. Ligaya agrees to the deal, and Makoy is taken into custody.

Tanggol is heartbroken when she learns that Makoy has been arrested. She rushes to the police station to see him, but she is not allowed to visit him. Tanggol vows to do everything she can to free Makoy from prison.

Synopsis

Batang Quiapo is a Philippine television drama series created and directed by Malou N. Santos for ABS-CBN. The series stars Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria, with an ensemble cast including Ronaldo Valdez, Susan Roces, Arjo Atayde, and Xyriel Manabat.

The series tells the story of Makoy (Coco Martin), a young man who was raised in the slums of Quiapo, Manila. Makoy is a skilled fighter and a loyal friend. He is also a loving son to his mother, Aling Rosa (Susan Roces).

Makoy's life changes when he meets Tanggol (Jodi Sta. Maria), a beautiful and intelligent young woman. Tanggol is the daughter of a wealthy businessman, but she is humble and down-to-earth. She is also attracted to Makoy's strength and kindness.

The love between Makoy and Tanggol is forbidden, as their families come from different worlds. However, their love is stronger than any obstacle. They are determined to be together, no matter what.
