The episode opens with Lyneth preparing breakfast for her family. Her mother, Marissa, is still recovering from her illness, and Lyneth is taking care of her younger siblings. Meanwhile, Moira is still feeling guilty about her actions towards Lyneth. She wants to apologize, but she is afraid of how Lyneth will react.
Later that day, Lyneth goes to school and meets with her teacher, Ms. Santos. Ms. Santos is impressed with Lyneth's progress and encourages her to continue working hard. Lyneth is grateful for Ms. Santos' support, and she is more determined than ever to achieve her dreams.
