21 Savage was stopped and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on February 3, 2019. The four individuals travelling with him, comprising his cousin, the rapper Young Nudy, and two additional males, were the focus of a sting operation known as the Georgia Gang Act, which involved accusations of severe physical harm. 21 Savage is a British national who has been in the US unlawfully since July 2006, when his non-immigration visa expired, according to information ICE discovered after the arrest.
