Exclusive: Ralf Rangnick is likely to start against Tottenham Hotspur despite rumors of dissatisfaction with the team.

In the upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur, Ralf Rangnick is expected to start Manchester United's Marcus Rashford.

Following Man United's humiliating 4-1 loss to Manchester City, reports suggested that a number of players, including academy graduate Marcus Rashford, were on their way out of the club.

CaughtOffside, on the other hand, has learned that interim manager Rangnick intends to start the 24-year-old, giving him his first start since the 1-1 draw with Southampton one month ago.

Rashford has had a hard time since he came back from an operation he had in preseason to deal with a long-term shoulder injury.
As a result of his following lack of form, he has scored just four goals in 18 Premier League games, with all of these goals coming from the bench.

An aspect of Rangnick's approach that has undoubtedly hurt Rashford is his tendency to use him as a right-winger, a position in which he is at best uncomfortable.

Rangick would hope that his faith in Rashford will be repaid with a goal or two, regardless of whether the reason for the restoration of faith is due to a clearing of the air over the rumours or because Rashford simply wants more playing time is unclear.

A win for either United or Spurs would boost their chances of finishing in the top four and give them a chance of overtaking fourth-place Arsenal.
