Cristiano Ronaldo was not the only Manchester United star caught this weekend with Tom Brady.

Since United's 3-2 victory over Tottenham on Saturday, images of the meeting between the two GOATs have been making the rounds.

Some believe their chat influenced Brady's decision to resign from the NFL.

And while fans were unsurprised to see the NFL icon bonding with Ronaldo, they were perplexed by images of him and his family with Phil Jones and Tom Heaton.

Brady and his son stood with a pretty confused-looking Jones inside Old Trafford in one of the images captioned "A couple of GOATS meeting at Old Trafford."

When it comes to goaltending, Heaton is United's third-choice backup behind David De Gea and Dean Henderson. Brady's sons stood with Heaton in a separate photo as he smiled broadly.

Some fans also noted that Brady failed to tag Heaton in an Instagram photo with the Manchester United team, despite doing so with everyone else in the photo.

Tom Heaton was the only person who Tom Brady didn't tag in his Instagram story, according to one commentator.

An additional comment was made by someone else: "Tom Brady will not be allowed to participate. Tom Heaton is regarded with a great deal of disdain."

On Sunday night, Brady, a die-hard football fan who is friends with Tottenham star Harry Kane, announced that he will be returning to the NFL for a 23rd season.
