Rangnick allows Man United to pursue a €100m replacement for Ronaldo

Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United's interim manager, is reportedly eager for the club to try to complete the signing of Tottenham striker Harry Kane during the summer transfer window.

According to Todo Fichajes, the Red Devils will undoubtedly need to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season, with Harry Kane now considered the club's top target to potentially replace the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani in the attacking midfield.

The England international has established himself as one of the best attackers in the world for a number of years, and Manchester United are desperate to have a goal-scorer of his calibre in their squad following a difficult season.

Despite the fact that Ronaldo's future at Old Trafford is in some doubt, Todo Fichajes believes that the club will require a younger forward to step in as a long-term replacement for him, given the fact that he will turn 38 years old the following year.

Harry Kane to Man Utd?

According to the report, Rangnick has given United the go-ahead to pursue Kane, who is expected to fetch around €100 million in the transfer market.

Is Kane's deal to Manchester United a risky move?
After failing to win any trophies in his whole career to date, it's clear that Kane has to move on to a bigger club, however it's arguable whether he has much of a chance of doing so at Manchester United.

It is almost certain that the club's future will be determined by who becomes the club's next manager and how many new players can be recruited. Finishing in the top four would also be beneficial, despite how implausible it appears at the moment.
