Manchester United will be able to relax on Saturday and Sunday afternoon as their rivals compete in the FA Cup and the Premier League, respectively.

As a result of their inability to win a trophy this season, United were knocked out of the world-famous competition by Middlesbrough and, due to other commitments, will not be able to continue their quest for a top-four finish. When Arsenal takes on Aston Villa, they will have an opportunity to move even further ahead in the race for the Premier League title.

Saturday noon will see Arsenal travel to Villa Park (12.30pm). Victory there would put them four points clear of United, and they would still have a game in hand at that point. United are now in second place.

During his most recent news conference, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag was asked about Manchester United's interest in him as a future manager. Paul Pogba, on the other hand, is moving closer to the exit door as rumors about his future continues to rumble.

Diogo Dalot, a right-back for Manchester United, has set his sights on securing a spot in Portugal's World Cup team in 2022, should the country qualify for the tournament in Qatar.

Portugal missed out on the top spot in their respective qualifying group and will now have to make their way through the play-offs later this month, beginning with a clash against Turkey in their semi-final next week.
