Exclusive: Manchester United's football agent explains what is happening at the club.

What Rob Segal believes is going wrong at Manchester United has been made public by the football agent.

Following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, many United fans were looking forward to the upcoming season in the hopes of making a run at the Premier League title and challenging Liverpool and Manchester United. Even winning a single trophy in one of the numerous contests in which they compete would have been a major accomplishment for the team at Old Trafford.

As of March, they've been eliminated from all tournaments and have no hope of winning the Premier League title at this point in time. During an exclusive interview with Caught Offside, Segal shared his thoughts on what is going wrong at the team.

In any case, the players understand that they will be there for a longer period of time than he will, and so if he says or does something they don't like, that's it, as evidenced by the fact that he has done so. It is always going to be the thinking of the players that 'this is only transitory, so it doesn't really matter what he says or does,'" Segal asserts.

Ralf Rangnick may not finish the season with Manchester United.\

Ralf Rangnick's future as Manchester United manager is in doubt when the club indicated that he would not necessarily be the club's long-term manager. As Segal pointed out, the players may be reluctant to embrace Rangnick's ideas since they are aware that they may be forced to adjust to a different style in the near future.

Since the interim manager took charge, the team's results have improved; nonetheless, they have struggled to deliver in some of the most important games, when it counts the most for them.

After being eliminated from the Champions League by Atletico Madrid, suffering a humiliating loss in the Manchester derby, and being knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Middlesbrough, Manchester United have set themselves an almost impossible challenge of winning silverware.

Segal continues, "When Michael Carrick was brought in to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Norwegian's departure last year, they should have kept him on an interim basis - Manchester United did not need to go out and find someone to hang with."

It's Segal's opinion that an interim manager should have been brought in until the appropriate person is found. As a result, they brought in a new manager, but it's not obvious what role he would play in the upcoming season.

The Manchester United club has the ability to attract the vast majority of managers in the world of football. In every manager's fantasy project, there are several aspects that must be considered: history, fan base, and financial backing, to name a few.

A number of Manchester United fans have expressed concern over the team's mentality, but there is no doubt that the proper manager can instill the right mindset in the current crop of players.
