Gary Neville tells Manchester United players to “lie low” after Atletico Madrid loss.

The players of Manchester United, according to Manchester United veteran Gary Neville, have appeared tone deaf after being spotted at a number of events since the club's Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid.

Losing 1-0 to Diego Simeone's side at home on Sunday effectively ended their chances of winning anything this season, while their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season also appear to be dwindling quickly.

Neville believes that some of the club's players are putting in a terrible performance by attending important public events, and he criticizes them for being "tone deaf" in the tweet below...

In response to this, Neville doubled down and insisted that he believes players may take a holiday, but not necessarily be seen partying at high-profile events in the public spotlight, making it plain that he feels they can take a break, but not necessarily be seen partying in public.

It's not going to be the same for everyone, but Neville knows what it takes to be a great player at Manchester United.
