After Manchester United players' social media activities, Gary Neville condemns them as 'tone deaf,'

Last week, Manchester United were knocked out the Champions League by Atletico Madrid, and as a result, they did not participate in any matches this past weekend.

Players at Manchester United have been called "tone deaf" for their "world tour" following their Champions League defeat, according to Neville.

Atletico Madrid knocked Manchester United out of Europe on Tuesday night, but they were given time off because they had no more games before the international break. If Ralf Rangnick's team had been scheduled to meet Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, it would have been the second time United had been eliminated from a competition.

When it came to the FA Cup, Manchester United's Roy Keane couldn't stop talking about James Garner.

Many first-team players took to social media to enjoy their time off, while interim manager Rangnick flew to Barbados to see England play cricket and co-owner Avram Glazer attended the Bahrain Grand Prix. Neville, a former Manchester United defender, moved to social media to criticise those players who had allegedly boasted about their previous trips.

'I remember a day when United players, managers, and executives wouldn't be seen in their local Italian after a draw at home, let alone getting knocked out of Europe.' Neville tweeted. F1, concerts, cricket, and UFC events took place all around the world in the past week. These people have no sense of pitch!

One social media user responded to his criticism by posing the following question: "Do you expect these athletes, who are human beings, to remain in their homes, isolated from the rest of the world? Better is expected from someone who has played for so long," Neville said, adding, "I want them to adapt to circumstances and go on vacation but quietly!," but Neville was unwavering in his opinion."

A second communication from Neville questioned the way players chronicled their downtime following a poor season: "There is no restriction on their being able to live normal lives outside of sport. They can go on vacation, relax, and take some time off. To be fair, if you've been knocked out of the Champions League and the FA Cup while still struggling in the league, I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest that you take a break from the limelight for a little while."
