Spurs' key player, England international Harry Kane, has been a standout performer this season, but it appears he could be on the verge of leaving again this summer.
Several reports, including the Daily Mirror, have said that Manchester United are interested in signing Kane for a fee in the region of £100 million. The 28-year-old has fueled speculation about his future by refusing to sign a new contract with his current club.
While Kane didn't appear to be interested in discussing his summer plans, he did state emphatically that he had no control over what can happen to him.
In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Kane stated that "my major priority is finishing this season, because I have no control over what will happen in the future."
Harry Kane scores for Tottenham.
It's important for me to be in the greatest shape possible going into that competition.
A move for Kane to Manchester United would be a dream come true for the club's fans, as he would be an ideal replacement for the club's legendary forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
When it comes to goal, Kane would bring a similar level of ruthlessness to Manchester United, in addition to his world-class playmaking abilities.
Still, Kane may want to think about other options because he has never won a trophy in his entire career, albeit we haven't seen much silverware at Old Trafford in recent years either.
