Manchester United's seasoned duo is injured while on international duty.

During their time on international service with France, Manchester United duo Raphael Varane and Paul Pogba are said to have sustained injuries.

Two of Ralf Rangnick's most important players, both of whom offer quality and years of elite experience to the team, are now being questioned about their fitness.

Pogba is out with a foot injury and has missed the French national team's most recent training session, according to football injury writer Ben Dinnery, who cites Le Parisien as stating that Varane has been away from the group after picking up a knock during the Ivory Coast game...

Varane in particular has had a difficult first season at Old Trafford as a result of recurring niggles like this, which might be a source of concern for Man United.

If the former Real Madrid player had been able to stay fit and play more often, he would almost certainly have made a bigger impact at Manchester United by now.

With the season winding down, Pogba has not been in the best of form. His contract at Manchester United is about to expire, and a summer departure is increasingly plausible.
