The following tweet from Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini claims that Fiorentina scouts were in attendance for Portugal's World Cup playoff match against Turkey, where they were keeping an eye on Dalot's performance.

The possibility exists that the incoming Manchester United boss will bring in a new right-back because none of the current crop has demonstrated that they deserve to wear the shirt. This would imply that either Wan-Bissaka or Dalot will be forced to resign.
