According to the Manchester Evening News, if Ten Hag is appointed as manager at Old Trafford, he will aim to recruit players from the Dutch division. Antony has already been linked with a move to England, but it has now been rumoured that Manchester United would compete with Arsenal and Liverpool for the PSV winger's signature, according to reports.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested in the 22-year-old, who has contributed 14 assists in all competitions this season, according to the Athletic newspaper.

Ten Hag may look to the rising talent of his native nation for inspiration. If you compare players from this league to players of a similar level from England, you will often find that they are significantly less expensive.

Because players such as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial aren't performing up to their previous levels, Manchester United may be on the lookout for a winger in the next summer. As things stand, Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga are the most likely candidates to take up the wide spots in the starting lineup.
