Bruno Fernandes wages: Where Man United star stands among club's biggest earners.

A new contract with Manchester United has been reached, with Bruno Fernandes becoming one of the club's biggest earners as a result of his new deal.

Fernandes has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2026, with the option to extend it by an additional year.
According to the contract details obtained by The Athletic, Fernandes' pay will more than quadruple from £120,000 per week to £240,000 per week, more than doubling the amount he has been earning over the past two years.

Fernandes has been Man United’s leading man since joining from Sporting Lisbon in 2020 for £47m.

For the first time in his career, the Portuguese playmaker will earn more than Cristiano Ronaldo and David de Gea, both of whom are paid £400,000 and £375,000.

Considering that he signed a five-and-a-half-year contract with the club in January 2020 that includes an option for an extension, this new contract simply adds one year to the contract he already had when he first joined the club in January 2020. However, it has a significant impact on his pay and more truly represents his value to the Manchester United football team.

With Manchester United, Fernandes has scored 49 goals and provided 39 assists in 117 appearances, including nine goals and 14 assists this season — impressive numbers for most players, but a disappointing one for Fernandes when compared to the 45 goal contribution levels he reached in his first full season with the club.
