Erik ten Hag, success at Manchester United is “impossible” if this issue persists.

New Manchester United manager will have to deal with the club's culture issues when they assume the reins following a challenging few years.

Despite Ralf Rangnick's arrival as temporary manager, the Red Devils haven't made much progress since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's dismissal earlier this season.

It appears as if Erik ten Hag will be the next manager of Manchester United, and Luke Chadwick spoke exclusively to CaughtOffside about the issue, giving Erik ten Hag an idea of the enormous task he faces.

Chadwick, on the other hand, made it clear that mending the team spirit at the club was critical for Ten Hag to succeed in the role.

"When a new boss takes over, there is usually some degree of uncertainty. At a club like Manchester United, "player leaks about who they want to bring in are not something that should be allowed to happen," Chadwick added. No one knows where they're coming from, but it's up to the new manager to show the players what he's all about, and to win them on to his way of doing things.

However, professional footballers are expected to put their best into working for a management and believing in their beliefs." I'm confident that every single member of the club's staff and every single player shares a desire to see the club succeed, so it all comes down to working together.

Some of Sir Alex Ferguson's greatest achievements included uniting the team and instilling the siege mentality, which is the belief that no one outside the club likes us but that we are capable of delivering results." Ten Hag may be able to pull off something similar, but it appears that a significant adjustment is required. There seems to be some confusion at the moment as to where we should be going. While this is the case, it is more or less impossible for any manager to be successful in his or her endeavors."

According to Stretty News, Chadwick has also expressed his support for the notion of a former Red Devils star such as Robin van Persie joining Ten Hag's staff as an assistant coach.

According to Chadwick, "having a player with the popularity of Robin van Persie at the club come in to assist the new manager is undoubtedly beneficial." The concept seems like a nice one.

"I believe that something needs to change at United." Since last season, when they finished second in the league and then lost in the final of the Europa League, the team has slipped backwards. They have now been eliminated from the Champions League in the first round of the knockout round, and they are striving to finish in the top four. Ten Hag has a lot of work ahead of him, but I believe he would be a popular choice, especially with Van Persie in the squad. Let's hope the club is given the opportunity to establish a new dynasty."

According to Chadwick, he hopes that the Ten Hag hiring would wind up being like Jurgen Klopp's at Liverpool, who was not the most experienced tactician when he initially arrived, but who was given the opportunity to create something new at Anfield.

According to Chadwick, in reaction to the Klopp comparisons: "It appears as though that's what United are planning with this appointment, assuming it goes through." It would be a big success if it is anything like Jurgen Klopp's appointment at Liverpool, which was a huge success.

A cloud has settled over the club right now; everything is negative, the team spirit does not appear to be high, and the application of some of the players does not appear to be as high as it should be. Liverpool and Manchester City have quite distinct cultures, and there needs to be a similar significant adjustment in the culture of the club."
