Bayern Munich sign midfielder who might have replaced Pogba for Manchester United.

According to BILD, Bayern Munich and Ajax have reached an agreement on the transfer of Ryan Gravenberch, a Dutch wonderkid who will join the club in the summer.

There is still a disparity between the two teams' assessments of the player, despite the fact that they have reached an agreement with the player in question. Bayern Munich is proposing €25 million plus add-ons for the midfielder, while Ajax believes he is worth at least €35 million.

Although he was recently suggested by the Sun as a potential Paul Pogba replacement, the verbal agreement between Gravenberch and Bayern Munich all but eliminates Manchester United's prospects of signing the Dutch international.

Despite the fact that the €25-35 million price tag may raise eyebrows, Ajax were likely eager to complete a deal with the teenager this summer before he entered the final year of his contract and had no intention of extending his term.

When he was 16 years old, Gravenberch became the youngest player in the history of the Eredivisie, having progressed through the ranks of the well known Ajax academy. According to Fabrizio Romano, the German giants made the teenager a priority in recent weeks, and they spent no time in finalizing the transaction and acquiring the midfielder's services for the upcoming season.

Despite the agreement, Old Trafford will have to hunt elsewhere for a long-term replacement for Paul Pogba, who will be out of contract at the end of this season as a result of the agreement.
