After his latest setback, Raphael Varane's troubling Manchester United injury record has been quantified.

Since joining Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer, Raphael Varane has been sidelined by injury far too frequently.

Only 35% of Manchester United's games have been played without Raphael Varane.

When Manchester United paid £34 million for Real Madrid defender Varane last year it appeared to be a smart acquisition. Arriving from Real Madrid and France, Varane had already won numerous trophies with both teams.

For Manchester United, Varane has been a class act, but his injury record has been abysmal. Manchester United's match against Everton on Saturday was postponed due to a number of Varane's injuries.

Since the start of the season, Varane has missed 15 of United's 42 games in all competitions due to various ailments.

That implies he's missed more than a third of the games he's been a part of. Varane was out for three games in October after injuring his groin while playing for France. Just one week after making his return against Tottenham, he was sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Varane was out for about a month after sustaining a more serious injury, and only returned to action after Christmas.

On Friday, Ralf Rangnick issued an update on the situation: "Raphael Varane is out indefinitely with a broken foot. His absence is expected at [Everton]."

If Ronald and his other team mates back at when he was still in Real Madrid could win the cup despite their respective injuries then nothing can stop you.
