The Manchester United star has held direct negotiations over possible transfers.

Paul Pogba, the Manchester United midfielder, is said to have held direct negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain president Leonardo about a possible free move in the summer.

According to Foot Mercato, the France international's contract will expire at the conclusion of this season, and it appears that he could be on his way back to his homeland with a move to PSG.

While it is reported that the Frenchman would want to return to his previous club Juventus, it appears that his meeting with Leonardo has gone well, and he is now considering taking up the possibility of a move to the French capital.

In spite of the fact that Pogba has struggled throughout his time at Old Trafford, he has the potential to do much better in Ligue 1, where he would be competing in a less tough and physically demanding league among numerous top players.

Since the departure of the iconic Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013, United has endured a rough spell, with Pogba not the first or the last prominent name to struggle to find a place in their ranks.

It would have been interesting to see the 29-year-old back at Juventus, but according to Foot Mercato, the Italian giants are not prioritizing him, and a move to the Parc des Princes now appears to be the most likely option.
