Following the Red Devils' 1-0 defeat to Everton on Saturday, Ronaldo left a young supporter with a damaged hand during an altercation at Old Trafford.
The teen's hand was injured, and the family was clearly displeased with United's response.
“United have handled it horribly and it's only made things worse to be honest,” Sarah told the Echo.
“In my opinion, if he was assaulted in the street and then asked us to dinner, we would refuse. Why would we do anything for Cristiano Ronaldo? Like we owe him a favor, but we don't.
“We've politely declined the offer to visit United because Jake doesn't want to see Ronaldo. He's made it clear.
“Not my words, but my son's. Ultimately, this is the point. He's more affected than I am, so I've left it up to him to decide – he doesn't want to go to United or see Ronaldo. All I can say right now is that the cops have it.”
A huge embarrassment for United, whose season is deteriorating on and off the pitch.
