Despite the fact that Manchester United are practicing on Friday afternoon, the customary entry to Carrington has been closed and security has been strengthened.

Manchester United have beefed up security at Carrington as a result of a number of United fans staging a protest in the vicinity of the training complex.

On Friday afternoon, almost two dozen protesters were spotted outside Carrington Stadium in a new display of dissatisfaction with the Glazers' ownership of the club. The 'Glazers Out' banner was waved by a few, while another said, 'Disgrace not suitable to wear the shirt 1958'. Security around the training area was beefed up as a response, and the customary entry was shut off entirely. There were also police officers in attendance.

Although Ralf Rangnick's pre-match press conference ahead of United's match against Norwich is being held at Carrington, the increased security presence was immediately noticeable by journalists upon their arrival. In order to prevent traffic jams, the main entrance to the training complex was blocked, and visitors were sent to the rear door, which is generally designated only for first-team players when they arrive for training. Security personnel were also stationed outside the campus's buildings to keep an eye on things.

"There was a modest and quiet demonstration today outside the Carrington training area," a United official said. We value the opinions of our followers and are committed to increasing our interaction with them."

Although United players are not expected to report to Carrington until around 3pm, this is not the first time that a protest has taken place there.

Following the idea for a European Super League, Manchester United fans banded together in April of last year to mobilize against the Glazers.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was confronted by fans as he arrived at Carrington to face protesters. When Solskjaer and Joel Glazer got into it outside the facility, it became well-known that Solskjaer declared Glazer 'loved' the club, according to those who were present at the time.

Aside from Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher, and Nemanja Matic, protesters also exchanged words with one another throughout that demonstration.
